YALUMBA’S VITICULTURIST NIGEL BLIESCHKE ON THE RELEVANCE OF VINE AGE
Last year I visited the Barossa, where I was shown around by Yalumba’s Grande Dame Jane Ferrari. At that occasion she took us to Yalumba’s nursery, where I met their viticulturist Nigel Blieschke.
As I still cannot wholly understand why there is so little information on something allegedly so important for wine quality I asked Nigel if he could give me his opinion on the topic and so he did. (more…)
